Our Raccoon Rescue service swiftly saves injured and orphaned raccoons, ensuring their safety and preparing them for rehabilitation.

What should I do if I find an injured raccoon?

If you find an injured or orphaned raccoon or other wildlife mammals, contact Rachel's Raccoon Rehabilitation & Education immediately at 901.409.6677. Avoid handling the animal and keep a safe distance while getting pictures/video. Do Not Feed or water. Contact a licensed rehabber and wait for their instructions. You can also reach other rehabbers by searching www.tn.gov/twra/wildlife

 

How can I support Rachel's Raccoon Rehabilitation & Education?

You can support our organization through donations, volunteering, or attending our educational sessions. Every contribution helps us provide formula, vaccines and other supplies. All donations are tax deductable under our non-profit 501c(3) wildlife organization.

Are raccoon educational sessions suitable for children?

Yes, our educational sessions are tailored for all age groups, including children. We offer engaging and informative content suitable for young learners, while having our Wildlife Educational Ammbassor, ROCKY RACCOON, present so everyone can view a live raccoon.

We are a non-profit organization, and All donations are tax deductible. Any amount you can spare will help feed, house and vaccinate orphaned or injured wildlife. Our busiest seasons are Spring through Autumn. But injuries happen all year long. Our biggest expenses are baby formula and vaccinations. We sincerely appreciate all your help.
